Thank you, Matt, for your enthusiastic words. Yes, I do have a new book on the way. Originally called CRUZ DE LA CRUZ: The Boy Who Saved Baseball, it is now simply titled The Boy Who Saved Baseball.

It's a modern day story set in the hills of Southern California, near the Mexican border. It won't be out until the spring of 2003, but I will start releasing chapters on this Website in December.

So please check back. I will probably post one or two chapters a month until March or April.

MEANWHILE, I do have a short story coming out soon (November or December, 2002). In a book of short stories called BIG CITY COOL, my 20 page story, "Old School/Fu-char Skool," will be included along with stories by Amy Tan, Kurt Vonnegut, Neal Shusterman, and Walter Dean Myers.

Look for it on Amazon.com. I'll post part of it on my Website soon, as well.

Thanks, again, Matt for your good words and efforts. Over the Wall is not an easy book to digest. It speaks well of your cognitive skills to know you followed it so closely.
