Thanks, Jason, for the thoughtful contribution. I wrote OVER THE WALL precisely for this reason: that we need to know what it is we ask our kids to do when we train them to be killers, ship them thousands of miles away to do our killing, then bring them back home and ask them to "get over it."

Please see the message above "WHAT IS WAR" by a Gulf war vet. This is what we're asking our kids to do "in our name."
