How do we know who really injured these poor civilians?

It is tragic that anyone has died in this war, but how can we be certain that all of the dead/injured civilians are not being intentionally hurt by their own government to make the US look bad? We should help the Red Cross help these people as much as we can, but also be aware tht our soldiers are being hurt and killed also, sometimes by civilians.
