Storyteller John H. Ritter's program is an anecdote-filled talk and performance piece to audiences who have already read and studied his multi-layered, metaphorical novels. His talks range from the humorous and sobering events of his boyhood to a musical and/or spoken word performance. John covers the writing process, revisions, and story workshopping ideas, including the decisions he's made which have led him to writing his powerful books.
The thrust of the talk is to inspire listeners and young writers to consider their own lives and their art in a way that allows them not simply to follow their dreams, but to take the vital steps to see them to fruition.
The session winds up with a wide-open and lively Q & A period.
